Frequently asked questions

What kind of companies do you work with?

Companies and institutions that already have an operation running and need technology to actually keep up with it — from a small business still running everything off spreadsheets to a company with several systems that no longer talk to each other. We don't select by company size, but by how real and specific the problem is.

How does a project with Pulsart start?

With a conversation about the problem, not the solution. Before proposing anything we run a short discovery to understand the business, the users and the real constraints — only then do we define scope, architecture and budget.

Do you work on a fixed budget or hourly?

It depends on the project. For well-defined scopes we prefer a fixed budget per stage, so the client knows exactly what they'll pay and get. For ongoing work (support, improvements, integrations that keep growing) we work on an hour pool or a monthly retainer.

How long does a typical project take?

It varies a lot depending on scope: a specific integration can be solved in weeks, while a full internal system can take several months. We prefer delivering in usable stages instead of one giant launch at the end, so the client starts seeing results sooner.

What if we already have a system and just need it integrated or improved?

We don't start from scratch out of habit. We assess what's worth keeping, integrating, wrapping or rebuilding, and prioritize whichever solves the problem with the least risk to the existing operation — see /en/solutions/system-modernization/.

Do you provide support and maintenance after launch?

Yes. A system doesn't end the day it goes live: we monitor it, fix issues and keep adjusting it as the business changes. This gets agreed on as part of the project, not sprung on you afterward.

What technologies do you work with?

We choose the technology based on the project's context, not the other way around — we don't sell a fixed stack. Generally we work with PHP, Node.js, SQL databases, REST APIs, and integrations with ERPs, ecommerce platforms and third-party tools.

Do you work with companies outside Argentina?

Yes. Alongside clients in Argentina, we have delivered projects in Spain and Uruguay, and we work remotely with distributed teams.

Is there something in your operation that isn't working the way it should?
